Profile Additions: Charlie Seymour Jr
Awards, Mayoral Proclamations, and Photographs:
Little did he know at age six while sitting on the stage of The Players Club of Swarthmore licking a lollipop in his first production that taking his message directly to an audience would become a life-long passion. And then his parents gave him a Brownie Camera, and his love for photography began. And when he was finished with his first roll of film, he handed it to his mother and received his first economics lesson: “Where’s your money to pay for the developing, son?”
His love for marketing soon followed and when he successfully ran for Student Council President in Junior High School, he collected 18,000 Avis “We Try Harder” buttons in 18 languages and used them in his campaign. His political marketing must have worked because he became Student Council President in Junior High School, High School, and at Tufts University, where he also founded the all-student musical theater group, Torn Ticket, which is still in existence today.
After Receiving his MBA from The Wharton School, he managed professional theaters in Princeton and St. Louis before returning to the Philadelphia area to head up Corporate Marketing and Corporate Planning for Jackson-Cross Company… and he went on to sell $247,368,657.97 in Investment Real Estate and help the firm market more than $1,000,000,000.
He also wrote The Hunchback of Notre Dame as a major musical with NY Composer, Neil Radisch, and created his own video and photography business in 2000.
Now he uses his photography, video, marketing, and writing skills to run several family-oriented websites:
- ILearnedItAllFromMyKids.com
- FathersAndTheDaughtersTheyLove.com
- RaisingGreatFamilies.com
- And he's helping his daughter, Liz, produce her own website, LizSeymour.com

Twice I've been recognized with Mayoral Proclamations: once surrounding the opening of The Hunchback of Notre Dame and one when I helped produce American Actor which was like American Idol but for stage actors.
